Saturday 21st of September 2024 is the national Open Energy Day. Sustainable energyprojects throughout the Netherlands will open their doors for the public. The purpose? Showing people the world behind their sockets.
The NVDE (Dutch Association Sustainable Energy) is the organizer of this day, together with the industry organizations such as Holland Solar.
Open Energy Day in Beuningen
In the municipality of Beuningen, several solar parks were connected to the electricity grid last year. To give centralized tours and be able to ask questions about the different solar parks, we decided to organize it together. We combine the Open Energy Day with a festive opening for the neighborhood of Solar Park Ficarystraat (TPSolar), Solar Park Schoenaker (TPSolar) and Solar Park Beuningen (ZonXP/Klimaatfonds).
Solar Park Ficarystraat will open its doors to visitors on Open Energy Day. From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm there will be tours and something to eat and drink. Any question you have you can ask us during the walk. Be sure to wear good (hiking) shoes and long pants. The official opening with the municipality will take place between 12-12:30. We hope for sunny weather, of course, but will also consider other weather conditions.
Address: Ficarystraat 2, 6644 KR in Ewijk.
